Welcome to Tzouanakis Intermediate School! Whether you are new to our school community or have been with us for years, we are delighted to partner with you in your child's educational journey.

At Tzouanakis Intermediate, we believe every child has the potential to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Our school theme, Growing Hearts, Growing Minds, reflects our commitment to helping students develop not only strong academic skills but also the character, confidence, and compassion needed to become responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

One of the unique aspects of our school culture is our GROWTH House System. Every student and staff member belongs to one of six Houses that foster a sense of belonging, teamwork, leadership, and school pride. Our Houses: Grateful Geckos, Respectful Ravens, Optimistic Otters, Wise Whales, Trustworthy Tortoises, and Honest Hummingbirds provide opportunities for students to build relationships across grade levels while celebrating positive character traits. Through friendly competitions, collaborative learning activities, and school-wide celebrations, our House System encourages students to support one another and make a positive impact in our school community.

As principal, I am honored to serve the students, families, and staff of Tzouanakis Intermediate School. With 29 years in education as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, and administrator, I know that the most successful schools are built on strong partnerships between families, communities, and educators. Open communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to students allow us to create the best possible learning environment for every child.

Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing engaging instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels valued and supported. Our goal is to challenge students to reach their full potential while encouraging curiosity, perseverance, kindness, and respect.
