September is quickly approaching, and we have several important events and learning opportunities coming up at TZ. Thank you for continuing to partner with us as we support our students throughout the school year.
ILEARN Checkpoint 1 Assessments
Students in grades 3–5 will soon participate in ILEARN Checkpoint 1 assessments in both English/Language Arts and Mathematics.
The Checkpoints provide teachers with valuable information about students’ progress toward Indiana Academic Standards. Results help us identify areas of strength, determine where additional instruction or support may be needed, and make informed instructional decisions throughout the year.
Because testing schedules may vary by grade level and classroom, teachers will share specific testing dates and information with families. We encourage students to approach these assessments just as they would any other school day—well rested, on time, and ready to do their best.
Picture Day – September 17
TZ Picture Day is Thursday, September 17!
Additional information will be shared with families regarding picture packages and ordering options. We look forward to seeing lots of smiles on Picture Day!
Student Council Blood Drive – September 23
Our TZ Student Council Blood Drive will take place on Wednesday, September 23. This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to support others while our Student Council students see firsthand how service can make a difference.
