Calendar Update: Waiver Approved & March 20 Reminder

GCSC Families,
Two weeks ago, we submitted a waiver request to the Indiana Department of Education regarding our school cancellation on Wednesday, January 28. At the time we canceled school, we shared that this day would be made up at the end of the school year by adding a student day on May 21.
I am pleased to share that the IDOE has approved our waiver request. This means GCSC will not need to add an additional student day to the calendar. Our last student day will remain Wednesday, May 20.
I have enclosed a copy of the school calendar with this message. As a reminder, school will be in session on Friday, March 20, to make up for our cancellation on December 12, 2025.
