Welcome to TZ Logo

Dear Tzouanakis Family and Friends,

Welcome to Tzouanakis Intermediate School!  As your building principal, it is my goal to build a team to help all students be as successful as they can be in their school experience.  Helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally are my top priorities.  We, however, cannot be totally successful without the help and support of our families and community.  Building safety, citizenship, meeting of personal needs, and love of learning are all areas that we must develop in order for our students to grow into the adults that we hope they become.  Our dedicated team is ready and excited to work with your children!  Building relationships is of utmost importance to me and I look forward to working with the staff, the students, and parents to make TZ a top school in our area.

This is my second full year as principal having served as the assistant principal for 4 years prior.  I live in Avon with my husband and am settling in to being an “empty nester” as my children are now 25 and 22.  I am a die-hard Boilermaker and a proud Purdue alum.  I am proud of the work that I have done at TZ and look forward to the challenge that awaits as your school principal.
There are a few staff changes for the 2020-21 school year.  Please join me in welcoming these great staff members to our TZ family.

If you are looking for ways to further connect with our school, please consider joining the Tzouanakis PTO.  This is a group dedicated to supporting our educational and enrichment programs.  They have succeeded in bringing a world of outstanding enrichment programs, technology, materials, and other forms of support so that we can do our best work.  PTO Meetings will be at 5:30 P.M. on the fourth Monday of each month.  They will be announced in the school newsletter, Tzouanakis Trailblazer, which is emailed and sent home once a month.  It may also be found online on the school website.

Change is challenging, and great things take time, but if we all work together, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Thanks for being part of our educational team. Your child will be a more successful person because of you!

Through a close partnership with everyone associated with TZ, I am confident we can make our school an even better place for our students to learn and grow.
